E' uno dei tantissimi locali che stanno spuntando come funghi negli ultimi tempi a Roma. Del resto, a quanto pare, in tempi di crisi, l'enogastronomia è l'unico settore che funziona!
Sono tutti carini beninteso e, spesso hanno, come in questo caso un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
Ha aperto da poco tempo a Monti, quartiere per il quale, come sapete abbiamo una predilezione. Il locale non è molto grande, ma molto accogliente. Propone molte prelibatezze ai suoi clienti, ma il punto di forza sono i ravioli fatti rigorosamente a mano. I migliori, a quanto pare, sono i ravioli "mariolina" con alici, ricotta di pecora e menta con patate e scalogno, granella di mandorle e limone.

Ha aperto a Via di Porta Cavalleggeri, in un punto strategico alle spalle del colonnato di Piazza San Pietro, la prima "patatineria" della Capitale. Sulla scia dell'enorme successo che questo tipo di locali ha avuto a Napoli dove è diventato un vero e proprio fenomeno, alcuni imprenditori romani hanno deciso di provarci a Roma e sicuramente il successo sarà assicurato!

Indiscrezioni. Il futuro di White Gallery e Gap.

Si tratta di voci che devono essere ancora confermate ufficialmente, ma pare proprio che abbiano più di qualche fondamento.

Cominciamo dalla White Gallery. Come affermato in un recente articolo apparso sul Messaggero (http://www.ilmessaggero.it/ROMA/CRONACA/museo_shoah_roma_villa_torlonia_marino/notizie/882205.shtml), pare che il famoso lyfestore dell'Eur chiuda entro breve per lasciare posto al museo dell'Olocausto. Che il grande concept store non abbia mai decollato è confermato dal fatto che non hanno mai trovato realizzazione i previsti reparti dedicati al design e al food. Sarà stata la location troppo lontana dalle rotte turistiche (a Roma i turisti rappresentano una grossa fetta dei compratori di alto livello) sarà la scarsa pubblicità fatta al negozio, ma sta di fatto che è già stato chiuso il secondo piano (la sartoria è stata accorpata al reparto classico) e l'assortimento complessivo è stato visibilmente ridimensionato.

Stessa sorte pare debba toccare al grande store di Gap di Via del Corso che nei prossimi mesi dovrebbe essere sostituito da Uniqlo, il colosso giapponese dell'abbigliamento.

The same fate seems to have to touch the big Gap store on Via del Corso that in the coming months should be replaced by Uniqlo, the Japanese clothing giant.

Dopo Milano e Montecarlo arriva anche a Roma la "boutique per animali". Non semplici accessori, ma un vero e proprio assortimento di quanto di meglio offre il mercato per gli animali domestici.

L'apertura è prevista per sabato 13 settembre alle ore 18.00 in Via del Campo Marzio n. 10/b. In programma un vero e proprio Pink Carpet...

Via del Babuino...Finalmente!

Erano anni che aspettavamo di vedere Via del Babuino così! Via le macchine in sosta. Basta con quei marciapiedi striminziti. Un paio di mesi di lavori e finalmente una delle strade più belle di Roma appare in tutto il suo splendore! E' cambiata la prospettiva. I palazzi sono più visibili e, quindi, più belli. I negozi risaltano maggiormente e, dulcis in fundo...c'è molta più gente che ci passeggia con la dovuta comodità...ma ci voleva tanto?!??

Via del Babuino...finally!

They were years that were expecting to see Via del Babuino like this! No parked cars. Enough with those skimpy sidewalks. A couple of months of work and finally one of the most beautiful streets of Rome appears in all its splendor! Perspective is changed. The buildings are more visible and therefore more beautiful. The shops stand out more and, last but not least ... there are many more people who walk with comfort due ... but it took so long?! ??

Brioni, K-way, Genny, Cos, Other Stories e le nuove aperture d'autunno.

Breve resoconto delle nuove aperture viste in questi giorni lungo le strade del Tridente.

La più interessante è senz'altro quella di Brioni che va ad occupare il bellissimo spazio lasciato libero, ahimé, dalla storica libreria Feltrinelli.

In Piazza di Spagna è la volta di K-way, brand in grande espansione, che prende il posto di Alberto Guardiani.

Ritorno di Genny (si proprio la storica griffe che faceva furore negli anni '80 e non solo) con una nuova boutique in Via Bocca di Leone.

 

Altra apertura (duplice!) interessante in via Borgognona nel grandissimo spazio lasciato libero, ormai da anni, da Fendi. Arrivano due brand del colosso svedese H&M ovvero Cos (che in Italia ha già aperto a Milano e a Torino) e Other Stories (già presente a Milano e in molte location prestigiose in Europa).
